Common questions

What counts toward the information asset limit?
The plan limit applies to records in your Information Asset Register (IAR) and ROPA processing activity entries — these share a combined count. Risks, DPIAs, policies, supplier records, SARs, data breaches, data subjects, and tasks are all unlimited on every plan.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — Starter and Professional plans both include a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. You can invite your team and explore all features before committing.
Can I switch plans or add add-ons later?
Absolutely. You can upgrade your plan or enable add-ons at any time from your account settings. All upgrades and add-ons are co-termed — they align to your existing contract end date, so you are only charged pro-rata for the remaining period. You never start a new billing term when adding products mid-cycle.
What counts as a "user"?
A user is any person with a named login — DPOs, SIROs, Caldicott Guardians, read-only reviewers, and administrators. Shared service accounts or API-only integrations do not count.
How is billing handled for the NHS?
We support purchase order (PO) invoicing for NHS organisations and can provide G-Cloud / NHS Shared Business Services compatible documentation. Contact us to arrange invoiced annual billing.
Is data stored in UK datacentres?
Yes. All data is stored and processed exclusively within UK datacentres (Microsoft Azure, UK South region). We conduct annual penetration testing and align to NHS DSPT and ISO 27001 controls.
