Managing people and staff records

The People module is a staff directory linked to your compliance records. It tracks who in your organisation is responsible for which assets, services, and supplier relationships.

Adding a person

  1. 1 Go to Dashboard → People.
  2. 2 Click + Add Person.
  3. 3 Enter their full name (required), email, phone, job title, and department.
  4. 4 Set their status: Active or Inactive.
  5. 5 Click Save.

Linking a person to assets, services, and companies

  1. 1 Open a person's record.
  2. 2 Click the Links button.
  3. 3 In the modal, switch between tabs: Services (assign as Service Owner), Assets (assign as Asset Owner), Companies (assign as a Worker at that company).
  4. 4 Use the search to find and add links.
  5. 5 Click Save.

Searching and filtering people

Use the search bar to filter by name, email, role, or department. The people list shows their department and training status at a glance.

Removing a person who has left

Do not delete people who have left — mark them as Inactive instead. This preserves the audit trail of their historical assignments. Inactive people are greyed out and excluded from active searches, but their historical links remain.
