Using the audit trail

The Audit Trail records every significant action taken in Folelse — who created, edited, or deleted a record, when, and what changed. It is immutable and cannot be edited or deleted.

What is logged

• Record creation, editing, and deletion across all modules.
• Login events (successful and failed).
• User invitations, role changes, and deactivations.
• Plan and billing changes.
• Policy publications and acknowledgements.
• SSO configuration changes.
• Data exports.

Viewing the audit trail

1. 1 Go to Dashboard → Audit Trail.
2. 2 Filter by user, action type, date range, or module.
3. 3 Click on any entry to see full details including the before and after values of any changed field.

Exporting audit logs

Click Export on the Audit Trail page to download a CSV of the filtered log. This is useful for ICO investigations, internal audits, and SAR responses where you need to show what happened to a specific person's data.
