NHS edition vs Standard UK edition — what's different

Folelse offers two editions: NHS / Healthcare and Standard UK. The edition is set during onboarding but can be changed in Settings. Your edition controls which modules are visible and which pricing applies.

NHS / Healthcare edition — additional modules

• DSPT Toolkit — assertion mapping, evidence linking, evidence pack export, and submission tracking.
• NHS CIS2 Smartcard SSO — single sign-on via NHS smartcard (requires the SSO add-on).
• Caldicott Guardian role — specialist dashboard and review workflows.
• National Data Opt-Out (NDO) tracking.
• Clinical Safety Assessments (DCB0129 / DCB0160).
• NHS-specific policy templates (IG Policy, Data Sharing Agreement, Caldicott Principles).
• ODS code linking on the organisation profile.

Standard UK edition — what's included

• Full ROPA, DPIA, SAR, Breach, Policy, Asset, Supplier, Risk, and Task modules.
• ICO registration tracking and renewal reminders.
• Cyber Essentials readiness tracking.
• Azure AD / Entra ID SSO (via SSO add-on).
• UK GDPR legal basis management.
• Standard UK policy templates.

How to switch edition

1. 1 Go to Dashboard → Settings → Organisation Profile.
2. 2 Change the Organisation Type field to your correct type.
3. 3 Click Save.
4. 4 NHS-specific modules appear or disappear in the sidebar immediately.
5. 5 Note: switching from NHS to Standard UK will hide DSPT data — the data is not deleted and reappears if you switch back.
